The Carl Morrison Lantern Society
Ensuring that Morrison's work endures for future generations
A Morrison Planned Giving Donor Story
Morrison's planned giving program, the Carl Morrison Lantern Society, was created to honor the legacy of the organization's founder. Members of the Lantern Society have left or dedicated a bequest or planned gift to Morrison. Planned gifts will be used to fund a Board-directed endowment to ensure that the mission and values of our organization will continue for years to come.
Morrison has been fortunate to enjoy significant annual support from individuals, foundations and organizations over its more than 55 years of service to our community. Now, we are also focusing on securing future-oriented planned gifts to establish and grow an endowment fund and create a renewable income stream to support our services to children and families.
Examples of gift planning that can secure Morrison’s mission and its charitable programs and equally benefit the donor’s life circumstances and estate include:
- Bequests left in a will
- A variety of trust agreements
- Charitable gift annuities
- Outright gifts of an asset
- Name Morrison Child and Family Services as a beneficiary of a qualified retirement plan or life insurance policy
