Residential Alcohol & Drug
Residential Alcohol and Drug Treatment (RAD) provides innovative treatment in a secure facility (Multnomah County Juvenile Justice Center) to help youth resolve issues around substance abuse. All youth are adjudicated in Multnomah County. The program is co-staffed by Morrison treatment staff and Multnomah County custody staff. RAD provides intensive treatment services, on-site education, and 24/7 supervision and care for up to six months. While the program is secure, youth can choose to leave. The program has been examined nationally as a model whereby a government entity and facility works cooperatively with a private-non profit to create a strong treatment program.
