Ages 13-18
Adolescence can be a confusing time even for the "well-adjusted" teen. Youths with more severe challenges often feel their community is giving up on them - their parents or foster families, their teachers, the entire adult world. The only ones not giving up may be exploiters - abusers, gang leaders, pimps, drug dealers - whose influence can be enormously destructive to our youths' lives.
Morrison helps teens break cycles of drug and alcohol addiction, sexual abuse, depression and all forms of violence against themselves and others. Together with youths, their parents, teachers, peers and mentors, we help teens make remarkable changes. Instead of falling hopelessly into a life of destruction, our youths can begin to discover their strengths and work toward realizing their true potential.
