Why Morrison Child and Family Services?

Morrison has a single goal: Improve the lives of children and families in our community by breaking cycles of abuse and trauma.

Morrison’s innovative programs respond to children and families’ by welcoming participation and input in their own treatment for services that integrate with their lives. Morrison’s continuum of care is broad, and while the range and diversity varies from prevention to residential services, the results are similarly focused on working with families and communities to make a positive difference in each child’s life.

Morrison directly serves more than 8,000 children and families a year; when you include siblings and guardians, that number increases to at least 21,000 individuals impacted by our programs. Our emphasis on prevention and early intervention improves the prospects for many children who might otherwise face expensive therapy, corrections, or incarceration later on in life.

According to a RAND Corporation report, well-designed programs like those at Morrison save our community $17 for every dollar spent.  So however you decide to partner, your generosity is instrumental in renewing hope for children and families struggling with adversity and trauma.
