Experience the 14th annual Cooking for Kids, a series of exclusive culinary events hosted by some of the area's finest chefs paired with acclaimed wine, spirits or beer from the Pacific Northwest.  Enjoy chef-led cooking demonstrations and presentations of the paired beverage of chosen for each course by the partnering winery, distillery or brewer.  All proceeds support Morrison programs to restore childhood, rebuild families and renew hope for thousands of children in our community.  Dinner has never tasted so good.

Tickets are $150 per person for each event, $125 of which is tax deductible.  You may register for an individual event or several in the series.  Cooking for Kids events make wonderful gifts for friends, family, employees and clients, too!

Calling All Little Picassos!

Nordstrom has invited Morrison to partner in its Childrens Tile Project led by artist Charlie Bigger. On Saturday, April 24, 2010 children ages 5-12, will gather to paint vivid, whimsical tiles to be permanently installed in the floor of the Kids’ Wear departments at the newly remodeled Nordstrom at Washington Square.

This fall, Nordstrom will unveil the children’s tiles at a very special tile-find party. Children who participated in the project will be invited to the store to discover their beautifully-installed tile, while enjoying entertainment and treats.

Register by April 16, 2010: Tickets are $50 per child. 100% of this donation will benefit Morrison Child and Family Services. For event details and to register, please call 503.258.4290.

Save the date for the Deschutes Brewery Street Fare on Thursday, August 12, 2010.  This will be a delightful way to spend a summer evening while benefiting Morrison Child & Family Services.  Deschutes Brewery in the Pearl will welcome the public to taste delicious food, enjoy their brews and listen to local musicians.
