A Recipe for Generosity and Fun
Cooking for Kids offers a recipe for success. This annual series of over 30 gourmet dining events promises unforgettable culinary experiences hosted by the best local chefs and vintners. New restaurants, stellar chefs, out of town opportunities and tastings beyond wine promise a menu of events not to miss!
Each event in this unique benefit series features one of the Portland area's best restaurants paired with a Pacific Northwest winery or spirits distillery. The dinners are held January through July at the hosting restaurant. The executive chef offers a cooking demonstration of several different courses, while a winery representative discusses the wines they've paired with each course of the meal. In addition to the sumptuous gourmet dinners with superb wine pairings, guests enjoy table side cooking demonstrations including hard to find recipes from the evening's menu.
2009 schedule is in the kitchen. . . registration will begin in November!
