Portland, OR - News Release

The Employees Community Fund of Boeing Portland awarded Morrison $5,000 to support the Hand in Hand Classroom and Treatment Room renovation.

Hand in Hand, a Division of Morrison Child and Family Services, specializes in serving children 0-18 years of age, many of whom have suffered severe abuse and neglect. The Hand in Hand program is located in Morrison’s Knott facility in Northeast Portland

The day treatment milieu is staffed by an interdisciplinary team that provides therapeutic activities integrated with Portland Public School DARTS Program educational services. Other ancillary services such as community based skill development, speech and language and occupational therapy services may be made available based on each child’s particular needs.
