Early Childhood Intensive Outpatient Services
Early Childhood Intensive Outpatient Services
Early Childhood Intensive Outpatient Service (ECIOS) provides short term, high intensity services in home and community based settings to families with young children. The program focuses on children birth to six-year-old who are at risk of losing their foster or biological home, preschool or early childhood care and education setting. These children and their families require more services than are routinely provided in a traditional outpatient setting.
The primary goal of the program is to partner with families in a way that strengthens the family, facilitates access to community resources and transitions the family to less intensive outpatient program. ECIOS is part of an extensive continuum of early childhood services within the Hand In Hand and Outpatient Service continuum. Staff are specially trained in early childhood consultation, early childhood development and early childhood mental health services.
