Meyer Memorial Trust Awards Morrison Child And Family Services $600,000
The Meyer Memorial Trust awarded $600,000 to Morrison Child and Family Services to support the purchase and renovations of our new agency building at 11035 NE Sandy Boulevard. This new Morrison location, formerly the site of a Verizon Wireless call center, is now home to the agency’s Executive, Finance, Human Resources, Development, IT, Diversity & Inclusion, and Program Evaluation/Quality Management departments, as well as vital community programs such as Breakthrough Day Treatment, Counterpoint Outpatient, Crisis Prevention Outreach, and Family Intensive Support Services. Without the support of foundations like MMT, Morrison would not be able to provide over 6,000 children, teens and families in our community with the essential mental health services they need.

Meyer Memorial Trust was founded in 1982 (as the Fred G. Meyer Charitable Trust) and was the largest private foundation in the Pacific Northwest until 1995. It is still among the largest 100 foundations in the nation. The Trust’s mission is: To invest in people, ideas and efforts that deliver significant social benefit to Oregon and SW Washington by striving to inspire, innovate, partner and lead in ways that improve the quality of life in our region. We greatly appreciate the Meyer Memorial Trust’s dedication to the safety and welfare of our young clients and their families.
